About the PVAMU Dallas Alumni Chapter
The Prairie View A&M University National Alumni Association – Dallas Alumni Chapter, founded in the 1970s, is one of the University's largest and most influential alumni chapters. For more than five decades, the chapter has united Panthers across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex while supporting Prairie View A&M University through scholarships, student recruitment, mentorship, community service, and alumni engagement.
Today, the Dallas Alumni Chapter continues its proud tradition of leadership by hosting signature events, awarding scholarships, welcoming new students through its Freshman Send-Off, and fostering lifelong Panther pride. As Prairie View A&M University celebrates its 150th Anniversary (1876–2026), the chapter remains a driving force in advancing the University's legacy of excellence and service.
